Moose March gets bigger by the year.  In addition to having a ton of fun, we also have the opportunity to do some good.

In 2017, we proudly associated ourselves with Operation Jersey Cares, an organization that dedicates itself to making sure our troops both home and abroad are cared for. This year, we are once again raising money for OJC!

Our Mission:

Operation Jersey Cares is comprised of Veterans and other proud Americans. We are all dedicated volunteers who give freely of our time and talents to ensure that our “Combat Veterans” are getting the support they need for the sacrifices they are making!

Operation Jersey Cares sends packages to our men and women to let them know that ‘America’ is behind their efforts. We will continue to do this until they can be reunited with their families and loved ones!

Operation Jersey Cares is also dedicated to helping the wounded Marines and soldiers who have returned home to be with their families. Collections and donations of much needed items are brought to the Veterans Hospital, Lyons, NJ and to the Soldiers Home, Menlo Park, NJ. We also assist the families with the medical and financial needs that they may have.

OUR MOTTO IS:

One Month to Moose March VII!

The countdown begins...June 9, 2018 we are celebrating our summer-starting tradition...Moose March!  This has turned into much more than a birthday bar crawl.  It’s a time for friends to get together, some who haven’t seen each other in a long time, to spend an evening of relaxing fun.  It’s an opportunity to give to charity (Troops, ‘MERICA!). And it’s always a good time to add to your wardrobe with awesome T Shirts!!!

2017 T shirts are here!!

Moose March 2017 T shirts are here!  All 92 of them, in their "Reflex Blue on Heathered Turquoise" glory!  We went fancy this year. 😆

On the front is the usual moose logo with "Moose March VI" on top, and the year "2017" below.

The back has my company logo and word mark for MWM Financial LLC (website, Facebook) and a new addition for Operation Jersey Cares, nice and big as it should be!

They look so great, I am very excited to hand them out to all of you beautiful people.

Origin of "Moose March"

Well...the name anyway...

We were trying to plan something for my birthday in 2012...and the idea of a bar crawl was born. I explained all this in the very first post, What Is Moose March.  What I *didn't* say, however, was how the name came into existence.

During the spring of 2012, my friend Tatum Peckham (now Tatum Lenaghan <3) was working in my office to help me keep my sh*t together organize the practice, sell items on eBay, and generally make work a nicer place in which to exist.

As we discussed various names for my bar crawl that would go with "Moose,"....she said something like, "How about Moose...March?"

This lady.  We've had tons of fun together at parties (ask about my infamous martini party), but she's yet to attend a Moose March.  One day.... cheers, T!

Moose March 3 - The Green One

3 days to go until Moose March VI!  To celebrate, here are some pictures from Moose March 3.

After the success of the first two Moose Marches, we held the epic trilogy.  We had a fantastic time throughout the evening, and ended up closing the Downtown at 1:45AM.  A bunch of us were hungry, so we decided to get some grub at the Broadway Diner.

There, Tina won $20 from Armen on a bet...but you'll have to ask her what happened in person.
